LASU refutes allegations that some of its legal graduates were excluded from the Nigerian legal School mobilising process

In a statement posted on X, the institution said that all of its records demonstrated that all graduates who had finished the necessary coursework and satisfied the requirements for mobilisation had been properly processed.

“An allegation regarding the non-mobilization of some law graduates to the Nigerian Law School has been brought to the attention of the University Management,” LASU stated.

The college claims that records kept by its Faculty of Law attested to the mobilisation of all qualified graduates who had finished their studies.

Additionally, LASU claimed that its Registry had proof that the Nigerian Law School had received the names of the mobilised graduates from the Registrar.

The statement went on, “Records at the University Registry also confirm that the University Registrar has forwarded the list of mobilised graduates to the Nigerian Law School.”

Graduates who might still be worried about their mobilisation were advised by the institution to go to the Office of the Registrar to confirm their status and ask questions if needed.

As a result, LASU stated, “all concerned graduates may proceed to the Office of the Registrar to confirm their mobilisation status and obtain any necessary clarification.”

Graduates were reassured by the university that it was still dedicated to making sure that eligible students did not experience needless delays in moving on to the next stage of their professional training.

According to the statement, “The University remains committed to ensuring that eligible graduates are not unduly delayed in proceeding to the next stage of their professional training.”
