Juliana Olayode, a Nollywood actress, has supported women who wish to get married, saying that this does not indicate a lack of purpose or desperation.
The actress made the comments in a post on her Instagram page, arguing that women ought to be allowed to live their own lives without fear of repercussions.
Olayode believes that women who are contentedly single or do not want to be married should be respected for their decisions, just as those who do should be free to express their desire without fear of repercussions.
She argued that not all women who desire a husband are desperate, emphasising that a woman’s ambition or accomplishments are not diminished by her excitement about marriage.
